I always find it nerve-racking bringing in someone to work on our house–because you never know what you are going to get until things start. Luckily for us, we found Shane who really stood apart from other experiences we’ve had.
He renovated our basement from top to bottom and ensured every step of the process was meticulous and well thought out. He took extra care to make sure we made smart choices in regards to the materials we picked and always took the time to get our input with every decision being made.
We couldn’t have been happier with the result and now have two additional (and very comfortable) bedrooms in our basement, a beautiful new bathroom and stunning entertainment space.

I recently hired Shane from Woodland Homes to complete my basement renovation. His team of skilled and master craftsman worked closely with me throughout the entire process. After the initial consultation, Shane took the time to carefully develop a plan and contract for the scope of the job and communicated with me frequently. He was very honest about what work needed to be done and provided me with a very fair quote.
I love his modern aesthetic which is in line with the rest of my house, and he had many great ideas throughout the process in terms of style, functional elements, and alternative ideas. Every person he brought into the process – electrician, plumbers, countertop suppliers etc – were very professional and friendly and excelled at their jobs.
I have used several contractors through my full home renovation, one that even took payment and did not complete the work. I was very impressed with the contract, layout of payment schedule and of course the final product! There are many reasons to hire this company, but honesty and integrity are definitely at the top of the list.

After some research and a couple of ridiculous quotes, I reached out to Woodland Homes + Renovations and THANK GOODNESS I DID 😊 I met with Shane ( Owner ) And after some initial consultations he developed a set of phases to give me a dream plan and incorporated everything I wanted/asked for.
